Hello Everyone, my name is Hiago DeSena!! I am a game developer who loves creating an enjoyable and memorable experience with colleagues who share the same passion. In every project i always strive for better quality, stability and most importantly visually pleasing work. I am very passionate in the following areas: - Graphics Programming - Game Engine Architecture - Editor/Tools - Gameplay Programming - Networking |
But without a doubt my specialty follows under Graphics Programming. It always has my attention and my heart. Most of my time is spent working in C++, HLSL, GLSL using DirectX10/11 and OpenGL. I am the Core Graphics programmer, in charge of developing and maintaining my home built graphics engine for my current game project, Dischord.
Performance and Visual Pleasing content is what drives me to keep learning, reading and evolving as a game developer.
I love implementing any cool effects that designers and artists request and also love coming up with my own way of finding solutions to problems that arise. I always strive to make effects run as fast as possible, finding ways to optimize along the way maintaining a desired frame rate.
In all the code based I have worked on I always strived in building a usable and extensible graphics architecture to bring out the best performance in each of the Graphics API, with the current game project idea in mind.
I am currently enrolled at Digipen Institute of Technology in Redmond, WA. Striving towards my degree in Bachelor of Science in Computer Science in Real-Time Interactive Simulation. So far I loved my time at Digipen, it has allowed to grow as a developer and as indivdual.
